    Heu,

As I had an issue with my blog on the domain coachplanet.biz - I tried a lot of things after reading about the topic.

One on the solutions were to add some code into the "comments file/form" as that didn't work I was led to the "theme functions" - addede some code in the top - deleteded it again - and bum - now the site is all down.

    Now I can't acces the wp-admin site.

I need some help on how to get it up and running again.
    Any good suggestions?

    Merry christmas;)

    Philip

    Thanks;9

Just worked a lot on it.

my issue is now that the only way I could get it back live was to change something in the config file and install another theme in wp-admin....

Can't get the Classic theme to work anymore

So you want me to replace the functions.php file on the remote server with the file from the theme?

Yes as that the file you tried to edit the file and has error as this file is lot delicate even a dot will give a error.

If you did not add any other function then the one tried to add you can replace the file.

All right - you are brillient.

One last stupid questions (I hope)

I acces the remote server via ftp - where I find the newest (live) files. Where should I find the backup/original file?

    Kind regards,
    Phiip

Once you log in ftp the right box is your server and if you installed root then when you open root folder you will see your wordpress files and folders the most important folder is wp-content as that is for all your plugins, themes, and uploads are and wp-config.php as that has your database info.
You need keep a backup of database as that where your data is saved.
