I recently tried to update my wordpress site to 3.2.1 and when I did that the upgrade failed and took down my site.
This is the error message: Fatal error: Class 'WP_Meta_Query' not found in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/245873/webspace/siteapps/110338/htdocs/wp-includes/query.php on line 1920
Has anyone else seen this problem and if so how have you solved it?

Manual update. Some server environments do not support automatic updating.

I had a test environment which I automatically upgraded successfully. It is a replica of the production environment. However I believe I upgraded from a slightly later version than the test.I am now comparing the test environment to the production environment and hope that this will resolve the issue.
