When I look up my site on Google using Chrome, I see the following description under every page title:
Your browser (Internet Explorer 6) is out of date. It has known security flaws and may not display all features of this and other websites. Learn how to update your ...
It doesn't do this in IE. Any ideas why and how I can change it?

I have the same problem.
I will try to fix that with this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tc-disable-browser-upgrade-warning/
Hope it will work, will write my results here.
