I can't understand what went wrong. I edited one of my pages by adding a little content, then when I went to publish it the whole lot just vanished, all my posts, the lot.

In fact the message comes up on all pages "We are sorry, this page does not exist
You're receiving this error because the page you are looking for does not exist on this website."
Is there any way you know that I can get it all back at all?
Have you tried changing that post's status to Draft? Or repairing your database?

Well, the post and pages have all gone, so the draft button doesn't even show up (I've since added to my original post that a message appears that the pages don't even exist.)
If it's the database, how on earth do I go about repairing that, and will that bring all my content back?

Wow! Thanks very much. I went to my Admin Panel and checked the state of the database, and some were corrupt. I clicked on 'repair' and the site is back up working fine.
