Site comes up weird on iPad

Hello,

My site is http://www.grantjkidney.com.

When viewing the non-mobile version of my site on an apple product, everything loads up extremely slow and there is significant lag when scrolling down the homepage.

I’ve also noticed two lines about a half an inch from the edge of the theme I developed which don’t appear when viewed from a desktop.

Any help at solving this would be appreciated.
