Site Admin missing (and I want it back) (7 posts)

    Hello all,

    I've recently noticed that my blogs no longer display "Site Admin" when I am logged in as an Admin. The "Edit this post" link at the bottom of a Post does not show, but when I click on "login" it puts me right into the Admin Panel without asking me for my password and I can perform any Admin functions that I need.

    It is just really annoying having to go all the way back to the Admin Panel and surf around to edit a post.

    Anyone got any clues as to why this might have happened and how I can get it back/function the way it used to?

    It happens with all of them.

    Thanks!

    Shoot! My bad spelling strikes again ...

    Here are those pages again:

    http://www.eternalsky.us/edwood
    http://www.eternalsky.us/Bonegrinder

    Sorry - I was typing that in very late last night. *LOL*

    <?php edit_post_link(); ?>

    This is missing - go into your index.php and add it here, after the time, but before the closing DIV:

    <div class="meta">©2006 Chaz @ Friday March 17, 2006 at 6:43 am </div>

    Actually, it is there ...

    <div class="feedback"><br />
    <?php edit_post_link('Edit Post', '', ' | '); ?> <?php comments_popup_link('Leave a comment »', '1 Comment »', '% Comments »'); ?><br />
    </div>

    I discovered that when I went back in to do your fix, ladydeluna.

    I went ahead and put it in anyway, but that still does not solve the problem of WordPress displaying the blog as if I am not logged in (when I am), but yet taking me directly to the Admin page when I click "Login."

    (20 minutes later)

    The problem seems to have stopped on my main blog, but contines with the other blogs created by the Multiply plug in.

    Can I make a feature request here? Can I request that WP 3.0 natively support multiple blogs off of a single installation and that each blog be able to have its own theme?

    hmmm... I'd say make that a new request in the right category... lol

    I'm guessing maybe it's the "multiply plugin" issue... if you disable the plugin, does it work?

    Actually, all the other blogs will cease to function if I remove the Multiply plugin. It is what allows me to have multiple blogs in the first place.
