   Hi,

   Here's a link: http://www.mrportman.co.uk/wordpress/learning/
   When you click on a post title, it doesn't show you the single template. Instead it shows te 404 template.

   My permalink structure is: /%category%/%postname%/
   and Category Base and Tag Base are both blank.

   Any help much appreciated!

   I'm having the same problem. All of my other posts work well when visiting the "single" template (full article), except for the most recent post. When I go to visit the full article for the most recent post, it takes me to the 404 page. If I find a solution for my issue, I will post back and let you know how I fixed my problem. Maybe these issues are related closely enough.

   FYI, my permalink structure is: /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/

   I was able to fix my problem. It turned out that WordPress didn't like the "title" that I was giving to a particular post (who knows why!). So, I changed the title of that post, and all is working again. I hope this helps!
