   I have downloaded this plugin and cannot get it to work. I've installed it but it doesn't show up under my post for me to select anything default or otherwise.

   Can someone please help?

   I have the same problem, I've been using the plugin and viewing the box labeled "Single Post Template" with no problem. I've updated wordpress to 3.0, then to 3.0.1 and it worked fine, but now suddenly that box does't appear when I try to create a post or edit an existing one.

   Could aquarafairy or anyone please help?

   I found this post and "solved" the problem by "Custom Single Post Templates for Specific Category". This is ok for me as I want all the posts from each category with the same style, but different from the style of other categories. However if that's not the case the problem would still be there.
