  • So here’s my situation. I’ve set up three “weblogs” which is really just one weblog and two categories with their own index files, modified (i.e. creative.php instead of index.php, with customized stylesheets). I have a plug-in, don’t remember what it’s called, that allows me to exclude all other categories on that page and just show the one category’s entries.
I was wondering if there’s any way that I can set it up so that it only shows one entry on that category’s page, but so that it’s not a universal thing – i.e. category “Photos” can only show one entry on it’s main page (photos.php, say) while all the other categories show the default number of entries – 10 or so. I know I can’t have separate config files for just the category, so I’m wondering if there’s a template tag I’m missing that will allow me to do this. I’m aware of the hack that allows you to do next/previous links within categories, which I’d like to also incorporate into this.
Does that make sense to anyone? The only reason I haven’t done three separate installs is that all three “blogs” are incorporated into one layout and one main site, and I’d prefer not to have to deal with the separate blog interfaces.
    Any ideas?
