Single post on index

    Hi,
    I have the following question:
    I would like to have on my blog, when opened, just the most recent post. That’s why under the options>reading I checking the “Show at most: 1 post” option.

    However, when I try to browse my blog using the categories, or by tags, it just shows only 1 post that matches the certain criteria.

    How may I fix this?
