   I have my Reading setting configured to display just one post per page. However, my homepage is currently displaying 2 posts, one sticky and one recently posted.

   What setting needs to be adjusted to display just one post?

   Thanks for any help.

   By default, sticky posts are always shown in addition to the number of posts per page. If you want to have stickies show up in their normal unsticky position, add 'caller_get_posts=1' as shown in this Codex page.
