   Dotted around the pages of my WordPress website http://www.dormen.org.uk are a small number (perhaps 10-20) of odd numbers, dates etc which periodically need to be updated as we grow. Doing this is not only time consuming but also I inevitably always miss one or two.

   Is there a simple way to be able to update them all in one place, with automatic links to the places where they appear?

   I'm sure there's a way of doing this (perhaps a plug-in?) but, if so, it's evading me at present!

   Despite the lack of response, I eventually found a solution to this problem by using the Sniplets Plugin. There are probably others too...
