   Hi Folks,

   "Simple Tags" http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-tags is installed on a site I am working on. I would like to remove the plugin.

   So my question is: will deactivating/removing the plugin cause any issues such as:

   - Deleting any tags that where renamed by the plugin.
   - Will auto linked tags in post content be removed?

   I'm thinking to remove it too, if somebody has any idea about the consequences and suggestions of which plugin to use to replace it, please give us your opinion :)

   Disable or uninstall the plugin will not remove any tags from the base of WordPress.
   For cons, the links automatically disappear content. (because they are not stored)
