Simple Scripts

So I have installed wordpress into my hosting service using simple scripts just as the instructions suggests, then I log into my wordpress site and attempt to upload my zipped theme. Aaaaa then the magic happens! Here is what comes next,

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, cgiadmin@yourhostingaccount.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

So I called my hosting service up and they said all is well on there side, they suggested I come here to find out if anything may be wrong on the wordpress side.
So here I am reaching out for help….Please!
