   Should be simple but I am drawing a blank. I am using the "Latest posts" option for the home page but I want to put an intro paragraph before the posts are listed.

   How?

   Easiest way? Create a new post and make it sticky. Now it will always be at the top of the "latest posts" list.

   FYI: I also modified loop.php (3.0 RC3) so that sticky posts don't display author/date/etc. I want a sticky to just look like "embedded" text.

   Edit the post. Open the Visibility sub-menu under the Publish tab. Check "Stick this post to the front page". Update the post.
