    Hi Guys

Simple one for you i'm very sure! I want to have an image on every page in a static position. Am I right in saying this should be in coded in style.css? If so I cannot figure out how to get it there.

I've managed to alter everything the way I want but this is the only thing.... can anyone help? If someone could give me an idea of how it should be written that would be ace!

    Thanks in advance

You could do it in css or you could simply have the image in your template. In css you can set an image as a background in a particular div. If you google [css background image] you'll find lots of instructions!

It all depends on where *you* want the image and what effect you want to achieve. You can have a photo of yourself in the sidebar, for example, which is easiest to achieve by adding the code for the image to sidebar.php. On the other hand you might want to have an image as a background to an h2 heading, or behind a horizontal menu, and that's achieved using css.

We can't answer these questions in the abstract. You'd have to show us your site and give us a clear sense of where you want the image to be.
