   Hi,

   I'm creating a one page portfolio site:
   jasondaydesign.com

   What I want to do is have portfolio items that when clicked, open a modal window that delivers a specific page content.

   Just like: http://demo.slimmity.com/coffee-junkie/#folio

   Thoughts? I tried an ajax simple modal version and it broke cufon and did not work.

   I tried RokBox from rocketheme, but it broke the other jquery on the page (no more scrolling).

   Any other suggestions?

   Did you try SimpleModal[1] or some other modal script? If it was SimpleModal and other scripts are breaking, it is most likely caused by the other scripts, not SimpleModal.

   Hi Eric,

   thanks for your reply - i did try yours, but not directly. I found another site that used your script and ajax, and the code didn't work correctly (didn't work for a large percentage of commenters).

   I ended up getting prettybox to work, but kudos to you for trolling forums to add support for your script. I will keep that in mind for future projects.
