    Keeping it simple.

    What I wanted to achieve is a simple function where if an image is included in a post clicking on it would create a modal window. I’m not bothered at this point whether it’s Thickbox, Fancybox or whatever. The simplicity is the important bit.

    This could have been achieved using Auto Thickbox Plus but the Fishpig/Margento bridge we’re having to use doesn’t support that. It does support NextGen.

    Could somebody please advise. We don’t need the extensive gallery functionality, just the modal function.

    I have installed NextGen Colorboxer and NextGen Gallery

    Your basically using a Magento platform that has a wordpress integration. The best people to help you would be fishpig. try to get in touch with the developers

    I don’t understand it well but I think you need a Lightbox-like plugin that opens linked images in popup window. NextGEN Gallery is a gallery plugin that manages/shows gallery images.

    These are major Lightbox-like plugins for WordPress.

    Thanks guys for your responses.

    I’m not sure what I was expecting in the way of a response. It turns out that Fishpig only supports the NextGen plugin and no other for this kind of thing. I’m sure NextGen is excellent stuff just rather excessive for our needs.

    It maybe that another bridge is required or a Magento plugin.
