Simple Media File Manager Required (2 posts)

    Hi all,

I run a small walking website(www.followthatpath.co.uk) using a Weaver II THEME.

It is just a simple website not a Blog so no posts, comments, or categories etc. just pages full of text and pictures.

What I need is a simple file management system (like Windows file manager) so I can keep the photos for each walk in separate folders rather than have to scroll through hundreds every time I want to locate one, at the moment I have well in excess of 500 photos.

I thought I'd found the Holy Grail with Media File Manager but all I keep getting is a 403 error every time I try to open anything!!

Is this a known problem? If so how do I fix it? OR can anyone recommend another plugin that has the same functions but works!!

    Many Thanks,
    Glen

I would definitely try to go to the dashboard > Settings > Permalink and resave all permalinks after having done any changes in the folder structure.

If the plugin is not working for you, you should contact the plugin developer so he can help diagnose why.

If not successful, try other file management plugins there are more than one available like
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/media-file-manager-advanced/

Another method besides using folder may be to use filtering with plugins like http://wordpress.org/plugins/enhanced-media-library/
