   The hotel that I am creating a website for, has a weekly event (a performance by a musician, speaker etc.) and I am looking for a really simple plugin that can handle this on the website.

   I want it to be displayed as list, so not as a calendar like most plugins do.
   Furthermore, it should be easy to add events and I would like to use a short code to embed them in a certain page (one that also has some more general info about the performances in general, and having dinner with it etc.)

   I have made a little sketch so that it could be a little bit more clear what I am looking for:
   

   As you can see, I'm not looking for something very complicated. I don't need them to be redirected to some extra page with more info about the event, I don't want any payment option. I just want to be able to add events with a date and let them 'disappear' when the date has passed so that it only shows upcoming performances.

   I'm pretty sure there should be something like this around there, as there are so many calendar plugins etc. But I have not been able to find any

   1. You can create a category named EVENTS, and create a new page template for that category, then just change the styles.

   2. Or you can create a new CPT called EVENTS, and create a new archive page for your CPT!

   Thanks a lot for the offer, but if I am right one needs to make a new post for every new event, right? I'm kind of looking for a plugin where I can just enter events. Again, thanks a lot for the offer though
