Simple email subscription plugin..?

    I want to be able to offer an email subscription so that people can be notified when I put posts on the blog.

    its a self hopsted wordpress.org blog.

    I added a subscription plugin, but so far it hasnt been notifying me when I add a post. I tried the email and twitter options run through feedblitz… :S
    I like the simplicity of the subscription option on this page http://kustomkultureaustralia.com/ any ideas if i can make this work on my site?

    Any tips would be great
