   well... maybe a little bit too much shifting :)
   in IE 5.5 is about 12 screens wide

   You're right it is about 5 screens wide. Although, so is this comment box that I'm typing in, hm.

   thanks for the feedback.
   Yes, I see how awful it looks in IE...the shifting is really bad.
   Also, the content section in the middle needs some work.
   I'm going to employ elasticdogs's hack for creating 'fake' template pages.
