I'm sure this is a very basic question, but I am not sure what to plug in to the requests and destinations for my redirect. I changed the name of my business and have a new website for the business. I am trying to reroute all of the traffic from cftree.com to alpentree.com. I have tried typing everything that seems logical according to the directions, but am not getting any results. Thank you in advance.

Hi! You could also get some ideas from this post. Even though it covers how to move from Blogger to WP, you can still get some ideas from the section about 301 Redirects, specially if you are looking to do the redirect dynamically.
    Cheers!

Thanks for the replies. I'm still working on figuring this out. I called godaddy, since they host the account and they tried to have me set up a domain forward. This works for what i want to do, but then I loose my search engine ratings. I'm talking to an seo guy later today to see if he can help me out.

Ok. Did you take a look at the article I shared? It includes some pretty useful tips to ensure redirection at a post/page level.

I am trying to reroute all of the traffic from cftree.com to alpentree.com.

    Have you tried these instaructions:

    http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/5120/redirect-urls-with-your-hosting-account

You don't need any plugins for redirection of your domain.

    Good luck.

Well, I tried the godaddy route before with no luck. I just tried it again and what do you know? It worked the second time. Thank you all for the help. Problem resolved.
