Signature appears in sidebar

It seems my chosen signature appears in the widget sidebar on every page except the homepage. My current settings are “plugin on”, “location: bottom”, “archive list on”, and only posts are checked. The only way to avoid this problem seems to be to apply the “homepage template” to the page. But then the sidebar disappears completely.

Can you please help me?
