I understand this is a free theme and that the WP forum is intended for WP support, but just wondered if anyone had had any joy adding their menu to the Sight theme by WPShower? I would like to add one above the slideshow, but nothing is appearing. I have added my menu both as ‘navigation’ and ‘top menu’.

I am having the same problems people have described here.

I’ve removed all the widgets as Mishapo suggests, and deleted all my menus, starting afresh as Craven222 says. Still nothing works.

Has anyone used this theme recently and found the way to do this?

  • Geeze, that theme is from 2010, three years old. Times have changed. Get yourself a shiny brand new responsive theme.

I’ve downloaded the theme and will test it out and report back.

I can see why you like the theme. There is some pretty cool stuff going on with it. In my case, no navigation and the slider would not slide.

If it were me and I was backed into a corner, I’d put my own menu in and add my own slider.

If your are rich like me, I would recommend Los Angeles

Thanks Flashbuddy – I know it’s old and outdated but just really liked it and was just trying it out for one of my many little blogs.

Nav update: my menu randomly appeared overnight! No explanation there. Sometimes WordPress works in mysterious ways 🙂
