I'm using a fluid 3-column theme adapted from one I found floating around out there. On posts where the sidebars are longer than the post content, the sidebars run over the bottom margins. I am completely at a loss. The problem existed in the original theme, and I emailed the designer but never heard back. My site is here:

I am not a CSS whiz and I'm sure this is something simple but I've been picking at it off and on for what seems like decades with no luck. Any help will be profoundly appreciated.
No "easy" fix that is cross browser supported. You should acquaint yourself with the particulars of fluid, three column themes. This article is a good start http://www.alistapart.com/articles/holygrail/

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. I thought I had googled this to death but I missed that.
And just to give you another option: try this link for a pretty classy, pretty easy to customize quasi-holy-grail: http://www.tanfa.co.uk/css/layouts/flexi-floats-3col.asp

Thanks very much, vkaryl, that looks quite good. I'm starting to feel less like an axe murderer when I look at the options for the site now. Much appreciated.
