• Hi Brady:

Everything was working great. Then I changed a sidebar on the Business Music page, now the custom Music Business sidebar on that page will not show…it will only show the default sidebar. Same is true for quite a few other pages now, including Booking and Touring, Music Promotion, Music Publishing, and a few others. Help. development.performermag.com

    Thanks

Have you made any changes recently? The only thing I can think of at the moment is that the “Default Sidebar” setting on the Reading settings screen may not be set correctly.

Your custom sidebars also need to have at least one widget in order for them to replace the default.

Let me know if that doesn’t help.

Will this plugin have support for WP 3.8 soon?

Hi tlaverdure, there aren’t any incompatibilities with WP 3.8 that I’m aware of. Have you run into any issues?

My guess at this point is that it is a theme issue that the template in your theme doesn’t display side bars. That is my guess at this point as I am having a similar issue using 3.9.1 and trying to figure out how to get the sidebar to display. If I play with the template associated with the page it will show up but the rest of the page gets messed up so I may need to create a custom template for the page I am using. If I do that it is not clear (at this particular moment) how I would still invoke this if it is using the standard call though.
