   Hi

   I have done something to the code so that I have lost my sidebars on the most recent pages I generated.

   Any Idea where I should look?

   Your sidebar was visible on all of the pages that I went to (front page, underlying Pages, single post pages).

   esmi,

   I have the same problem as they thought they had. Could you check mine at http://healthy-and-wealthy-now.com/realestateleaseoption. The side bars shows on first page only & I want in all of. It started on all then quit.

   The sidebar appears to be on all of your post listing pages. It's not available on single post pages but then that's the standard behaviour of the default theme.

   Is there an easy way to make the sidebar appear on the single post pages?

   You'd need to edit the theme's single.php file to use:

   <div id="content" class="narrowcolumn" role="main">

   instead of:

   <div id="content" class="widecolumn" role="main">

   and then add <?php get_sidebar(); ?> just above <?php get_footer(); ?>

   esmi,

   How do I get to the area that you are talking about? Can you direct me or tell me where to find a tutorial on it? Everything I find that deals with what you are talking about don't tell how to begin the basic first step to do this.

   Try looking in Admin/Appearance/Editor. You need to then choose the single.php template file from the list of files available.

   esmi,

   OK I'll give that a try.
   It was suggested I use a different theme that has what I'm trying to do already in it. What would you suggest for someone that as slow as I am at this? I need one that would go on my site without losing my content & show the sidebar in all the single post pages.

    Go to http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/tag-filter/ and tick "two-columns" plus any other features and/or colors that you want. Then click "Find Themes". That should give you plenty to choose from.
