    I have been browsing for hours, but I dont get it:
    What is the code/syntax for listing ONLY ONE category in my sidebar - and for putting an image beside that?
    I am going crazy - cant find it (or I am too stupid :-)
    Please help!
    Thanx.

    Thank you, but I do not find it, I am not a developer, just a blog-owner.
    Can anyone give me the code - please!

    If it's always going to be the same category, why not just add something like:

    <ul>
    <li><a href="http://mysite/?cat=1">Category Name</a> <img src="http://mysite/images/cat-1.jpg" /></li>
    </ul>

    to your sidebar template? If it's not going to be the same all the time, then explain what result you're going for here. Otherwise we won't know what to suggest.

    Kafkaesqui, you made my day!
    How simple - I was getting lost in php code...
    Now it is working, and I even added a line with the feed:

    Thanx - and a Merry Christmas to you and everyone.
