[resolved] Sidebar Widgets Not Working (8 posts)

I have an Twenty Eleven themed site on Dreamhost, WordPress 3.4.1.

The problem is that the sidebar and widgets are not working correctly:

    * If I try to remove anything from the sidebar, it does not work. It seems to be removed, but when I refresh my blog it is still there.
    * I tried to add the Calendar to the sidebar. In Chrome, it did not work. In Safari, it did -- once. Then when I tried to move the Calendar around or remove it, that did not work.
    * Adding any of the other widgets to the sidebar does not work. For example, I've tried adding the Jetpack email and/or RSS subscribe options. They seem to be on the sidebar, but when I refresh the site -- nothing.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Have you installed a caching plugin? If so, flush the server cache files.

Have you edited the default theme?

Bingo. This was the problem. I'm using WP Super Cache.

    Flushing the server cache worked.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Do you can help me with this doubt.
I have this theme installed http://fthemes.com/dinamo-free-wordpress-theme/ and I just want to do is reduce the width of the slide to the left to 615px but that makes an right empty space.
How do I move the sidebar to up to cover the empty space?

    I would appreciate your help;)
