Hallo. I have searched and searched. I have found a lots of threads about not being able to configure Sidebar Widgets.

Some solutions where to deactivate Tiger Admin theme or check if the scriptalicious folder is in right place.

The sidebar widgets works fine. But suddenly the configure buttons does not work except for the RSS Widget. I have cleared my cache and have deactivated other plug-ins.. Still does not work..

The strange thing is that it worked last night. The only thing i have changed is some CSS in my theme (not admin theme!)

    Browsers tested in:
    Opera 9.20 OS X
    Firefox 2.x OS X
    Safari 10.4 OS X
    Camino 1.0.3 OS X
    IE 6 WinXP
    IE 7 Vista

First, make sure you're using the right version of the widgets plugin. There's a different version of widgets for WordPress 2.1 and up.
    See here: http://automattic.com/code/widgets/

Second, there is no longer a scriptaculous folder in the 2.1 widgets that you have to screw around with. WordPress 2.1 and up comes with the scriptaculous stuff by default, so anything you did to mess with that likely broke the thing.

    To fix:
-Delete any widget related stuff from your site.
-Delete any scriptaculous stuff on your site.
-Replace the wp-includes/js folder and everything in it with the original one from the WordPress ZIP file. Redownload it if you don't have it.
-Install the 2.1 version of widgets. There is no extra scriptaculous folder to mess with.

And no, Tiger admin theme (or any admin theme) will probably not work with widgets. It's unlikely that they'll work with 2.1 in general and it's almost certain that they will not work with 2.2. Stop using them.
