redingtonctI'm looking for a widget that will randomly display in the sidebar a list of old posts from specific categories. Ideally, it would have some options that allow me to dictate how much is shown (just the title, or the title and a small excerpt) as well as how often the list randomizes (every hour, day, week...). My search attempts have been fruitless thus far (perhaps my search terms are off the mark or I'm ignorant to the nomenclature for such a function).
I have a ton of old content on my blog that's timeless (interviews, etc.), and now that I have more visitors I want to find ways to feature that content so my users are aware of it.
I've found the Archivist plugin, which is similar but doesn't work in the sidebar.
Might the sages of this forum have any recommendations?
