    is it possible to slightly change the opacity/trasparency of the background? in the specific, the sidebar bg.

    The sidebar has the ID sidebar, so you can target its background opacity with CSS. If you provide a link to your site I can help with specific code if you still need help with it.

    Im looking to the same thing @kathryn presner

    i want to change the opacity of the sidebar. i don’t want it to be 100% transparent but i would like to be able to see the background

    This forum is specifically about the P2 theme, but your site is running Hickory, which doesn’t look like it’s in the WordPress.org directory. I suggest contacting the developer for support: http://solopine.com/
