My site: http://www.eatskeet.com (using misty look theme, and sidbar widgets plugin) looks fine in Firefox but in IE 6. The sidebar is on the bottom of the page. Any reason for this? i'm not great with CSS.

Do you see anything on that front page that looks larger, MUCH larger than anything else?

Maybe the gigantic image of the old guy with the hat???
Rule #1. You cannot put a 675 pixel wide anything in a space thats only made for things that are 510 pixels.

In the future, if you need to debug this and things arent quite as obvious..
The theme you are using has a sidebar on permalink pages, therefore you can look at the permalinks.. Like so:

http://www.eatskeet.com/?p=39 <-- looks fine
http://www.eatskeet.com/?p=37 <-- looks fine
http://www.eatskeet.com/?p=36 <-- looks fine
and finally,
http://www.eatskeet.com/?p=35 <-- hey! its the old guy in the hat, and look at your sidebar.
In other words, you can use very simple troubleshooting skills to figure this out :)

Posted 4 years ago #what causes the sidebar to move to the bottom of the page is the fact that it doesn't fit, when the content column is too wide.
Just resize the content column accordingly, and that will fix it.Dianellys Morato / Gregg Priest
