i based my site http://ifoundthis.co.uk/ on the default wordpress theme and didnt think I'd changed much appart from the colours, yet in IE the sidebar is shown under all the posts and not on the side as it is with Firefox.
Any Ideas? cheers.

One possible cause:
http://ifoundthis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2006/05/beautiful%20inside%20out%20small.jpegYou cannot have anything in the content area or in the sidebar that is wider than the pixel width of that area (defined in the CSS). You have to manually resize every image before uploading to make them narrower than the content area.
Same for the sidebar.
Anything, I mean an image, a long code line (even invisible), a long link etc. can "sink" your sidebar in IE.[by searching you could have found hundreds of posts about it]
