akehHey guys I'm using my http://www.handworkrestoration.com site as a test site since it wasn't being used. I'm trying to help my girlfriend set up her sight and get everything the way she wants it before we move it all to her domain, but we've run into a couple problems.
First of all, the sidebar is suddenly missing from the homepage. Actually it's just at the bottom and half the posts' formattings are messed up now. I've searched the forums and google and have been checking to make sure all the html tags are closed, but she has hundreds of posts that we've been transferring the last few days and I've been searching but can't find any that seem to be messed up. Does anyone have any recommendations or know anything else that might be causing it? I did notice it after I was trying out the auto more plug in, but I'm not sure if that was the cause. I removed it and the issue persists.
That leads me to my second question. Is there a plug-in or easy way to automatically show just the first paragraph and first picture (if there is one) of each post on the home page. I've seen many excerpt plug-ins but they all seem character or word based instead of by paragraphs.
Lastly, I would also like to separate the sidebar from the main content or add a purple border down the left side of the sidebar.
