Sidebar jumps on Archive only (4 posts)

Hi, I am new and have been resourceful, or stubborn, enough to solve my own issues until now.

A few other people have posted similar problems, but usually related to specific browsers. My sidebar jumps down on archive pages only.

It does not seem related to one post but to the archive.php.

I am using the theme red is nice and did not alter the archive file. See http://www.pawinepicks.com.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

That's fairly bizarre. It's only happening in IE, but for me the whole page jumps - even if you hit the back button.
I would look at any hacks you have made or a plugin conflict.
Barring that , you might look here:

Thanks for having a look. The sidebar performs the same way on the archive page in Safari and Foxfire as well.

I have only one plug in activated, the feedburner RSS redirect. And the archive sidebar was screwed up before that, so I do not think it can be responsible.

Thanks for the link. A little beyond what I understand right now, but I'll start poring over it.

What do you mean by "the whole page jumps"? For me it just lists the sidebar at the bottom of the posts rather than the side.

    Thanks.

Hmmm, no that doesn't happen for me. The symptom you are describing though is usually content too wide in the main container or sidebar. It could be an image - too long a line without wrapping - an overly long uri, etc.
