Sidebar is not clearing (3 posts)

    Hi,
    I am having sidebar issues with the site I am working on. On the single post pages, the sidebar is overlapping the title. The problem is that some titles have an image (custom field): http://tomasflintblog.appsalon.com/weddings/kori-shane-rochester-ny-wedding-photographs/ and some do not: http://tomasflintblog.appsalon.com/personal/local-buzzzz-rochester-democrat-chronicle-wedding-photography/

    I need the sidebar to be a sidebar next to the post text.

    Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!

    Hi

    Your problem is you are specifying a width for the title that is wider than the content of the post.

    Class single-narrow defines the post content as width 630px

    ".content_top-no_header div.wrap" and ".content_top-no_header div.title" define the title area as 960px wide

    ".content_top-no_header" defines it as 850px wide

    When I changed those 3 to width of 630px (same as content area) the title appears where its supposed to. It will need some bottom padding.

    You may need those defined with the wider widths in other parts of the site.

    My suggestion is try adding this to your stylesheet, which will apply the 630px only when it is part of a containing div with a class of single-narrow (which you have on the single page)

    .single-narrow .content_top-no_header div.wrap, .single-narrow .content_top-no_header div.title, .single-narrow .content_top-no_header {
       width: 630px;
    }

    Thanks for your response. I appreciate it.

    I want the title to span the 850px and to have the post text on the left and the sidebar to the right, next to the post text. Is there something else I could do to accomplish this?

    Thank you!
