Sidebar editing? - basic question (5 posts)

Hey, I'm looking to add to my sidebar. Coming from Blogger, one of the (very few) simple things to do is add to that thing. Am I missing something--is there an admin function to just add a "widget" there? Or is it theme-dependant?

Specifically, I want to add a section where I can list my Feedburner RSS and email subscriptions.

Sorry this is so simple...I'm new to WordPress, but loving moving my blog from Blogger!!!

    Thanks in advance!

Depends actually if you have the widgets plugin installed or not. If you don't, it's just a matter of editing your theme's sidebar.php and place the code that you want in there. If you do have widgets, I'd just add in the code that you want into a text widget and place it into your sidebar.

    Hope this helps,
