Sidebar display problems with IE8 and WordPress 2.8+ (4 posts)

I have a blog based on the Mandigo blog theme. I noticed that my two blog sidebars disappear when viewing the site using IE8, but it works fine on Safari, Chrome and Firefox. You can see my site here:

I'm a bit stumped why this won't work, and I have browsed the WordPress forums for other IE8 related compatibility issues.

I've also tried using the fix mentioned here, but it doesn't seem to work.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

You have some elements that are too large for your posts. This should help, http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3a%2f%2fnxtbot.com%2f

@kmessinger: Thanks for the advice. But is there a reason why those elements work in Firefox/Safari/Chrome, but not in IE8?

I'll try resizing some images and see if that helps.

Basically, all browsers are different with some more forgiving, but 99% of the time it is an error in the code.

I see you have it working. Please post how you corrected the problem.
