Using Hybrid framework with Leviathan child theme using WordPress 3.0. Suddenly the sidebar disappears on the front page, but all the pages and posts still have the sidebar.

Check your front page template file. I can't see any sign of the sidebar in the source code, so the call to it may be missing in the template file.

Is your sidebar.php template intact and populated?

sidebar-after-content.php
sidebar-after-singular.php
sidebar-before-content.php
sidebar-primary.php
sidebar-secondary.php
sidebar-subsidiary.php -

Posted 1 year ago #Okay, Esmi. Let me know if you have any other ideas, because it is now showing up if I deactivate Hybrid and Leviathan and activate another theme.
I've deactivated plugins, re-downloaded and reinstalled Hybrid and Leviathan, and updated WordPress from 3.0 to 3.01.
Thanks for your help thus far. Wish something would work. (Sigh)

Good news! I got some advice from Justin on the Hybrid Theme forums. He said that there was some code in the last post that appeared on the home page and that was breaking everything that followed it.
I edited the post and took out all the code (have no clue where it came from) and voila! the sidebar now appears.
