[resolved] Sidebar content bold in Internet Explorer and normal in Firefox and Opera (2 posts)

    In Firefox and Opera, the content looks the way I would expect it to according to my style sheet. For example, the list of pages and categories - the items are indented.

    The code on my sidebar.php is simply:
    <p><?php wp_list_pages('depth=1&title_li='); ?></p>
    <p><?php list_cats(0, '', 'name', 'asc', '', 1, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0,'','','','','') ?></p>

    On my style sheet I have

    #leftnav li {
    list-style-type: none;
    display: normal;
    }

    When viewed in IE, the exact same content is indented.

    I don't want it indented, I want it normal.

    Any ideas how to either put the content in so it isn't a list item, or force all browsers to ignore the fact its a list item?

    Thanks.

    I don't know if this is a "good" fix, but I ended up using
    list-style-position: outside;
    and cleared all the padding and margins, and it seems to look ok in IE and Firefox now.
