    I just upgraded to the new version of Suffusion. I am having problems with one of my sidebars. It is dropping below the first sidebar. Seems like the main body are is not automatically scaling to allow for two sidebars. The single sidebar template seems to be working fine. Appreciate any help you can provide.

    Here is my website: http://www.travelinghorde.com

    Thanks, Riz.

  • I am seeing your site fine without issues. Try clearing up your cache and refreshing

    Thanks for the quick reply. That seemed to do the trick. For some reason the problem was only on Google Chrome. It seemed to be doing fine on IE.

    Thanks again.

    Riz.

    Yes, some people reported this issue with the latest release, and clearing their cache helped.

    If your issue is resolved, can you please mark it as such?

    Thanks.

    Didn’t work for me: http://linennis.com

    Are you sure you have posted to the correct thread? You don’t seem to be using the Suffusion theme.

    Sayontan…right, I’m not using Suffusion; I’m using SemioLogic. I suspected the answer could be similar if not the same. But alas, clearing the cache didn’t work for me. Nor did viewing the site in a different browser.

    The weird thing is, it was working on a different host. I did a complete backup and restore (to a new host), but something in the nuance of css margins didn’t transfer correctly.

    Sayontan… this is a great theme, thank you for doing this. However, I am experiencing one problem I need help resolving. SIDEBAR 1 was originally set up for RIGHT side. I want to set this now to LEFT side, and have selected the radio button to change this. However, it seems to have no effect. And I have cleared the browser cache.

    Thank you in advance for any help.

    Hi there
    I’m using Suffusion pretty successfully for a wordpress rookie, but I think I’m having the same problem. My sidebar was OK, but I’ve been playing around with widgets and plug-ins and now it’s dropped to the foot of the page, below my posts and other stuff.
    I’m using Firefox, and have cleared my cache on that but am still not having any joy.
    Can you help? I really don’t want to have to move to a new theme. I had this problem before but it seemed to resolve itself.

    @sonjastocks,
    Your problem is a conflicting style created by this stylesheet: http://www.gomummygo.com/wp-content/plugins/forum-server/skins/smooth/style.css (the “Forum Server” plugin?). It seems to override the “.right” class by adding a 3px padding around it, which pushes the sidebar down.

    If you are not using the plugin you can deactivate it. If you are using the plugin, then go to Suffusion Theme Options -> Blog Features -> Custom Includes -> Custom Styles and put this in:

    .right {
        padding: 0;
    }

    you rock! thank you so much. Fixed in a jiffy.
    In case you’re interested it was the WP Forum Server by Vast HTML that was causing the problem. Really appreciate your help!

    I’m a total newbie without any HTML training (I have to look up everything), so I apologize in advance. I created my first sticky post with a photo. Now, I have a blank post at the top that I can’t get rid of. I have tried deleting the new post and the blank one goes away. Then, when I re-post, the blank box returns. HELP! I’m using Firefox and have already cleared my cache and checked it in IE: http://glossnews.com

    You have “Featured Content” enabled, but that works only if you have more than 1 post in it.

    If you are the author of this theme. Thanks! It’s really great.

    I am having one problem with the left sidebar. If I set up to display 2 sidebars on the right hand side, my site looks fine. But if I try to move sidebar 2 to the left side (by clicking left in Suffusion theme options >> sidebars and widget areas >> sidebar 2
    ), it disappears. The main page does not shift over to the right and there is an empty space on the right side (where sidebar 2 would be if it I clicked “right” in the sidebar 2 option in Suffusion theme options >> sidebars and widget areas >> sidebar 2

    Any suggestions.

    @zlewis,
    Since I cannot replicate this on any of my installations of the theme I will need to see screenshots of the “Sidebars and Widget Areas” options page in the theme settings.

    Sayontan.
