[resolved] Sidebar and Footer display problems in IE (6 posts)

I've designed a wordpress website with one right-floated sidebar. The site displays perfectly in Firefox and Safari, however, in IE (all versions) only half of the sidebar (at times) displays where it is supposed to. The rest of the sidebar widgets and the bottom ad bar and footer display outside my wrapper. I have searched exhaustively for an extra </div> or anything to explain why this content displays below the rest of the website.

You can see it here at http://www.playcdfl.org. Please view in firefox or safari to see what it is supposed to look like.
ALSO - I've added bright background colors to several of the main divs to try and track where things are displaying in IE.
    RED - sidebar
    LIME GREEN - blog content
    BLUE - bottom ad bar
    GREEN - footer
PINK BORDER - around the main wrapper

I know people design separate style sheets for IE sometimes, but I don't even know what to do to make this display correctly.

    PLEASE HELP!

Also - I realize there are several validation errors. I am working on those, but do not think they are causing the main display issue.

I will work to fix all the validation errors to see if that fixes anything.
If anyone else has any suggestions besides this, please let me know...

I will admit I was completely wrong - after fixing most of the validation errors (which mostly had to do with incorrect use of li tags) it is now close to displaying properly in IE.
Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.

Hope this helps anyone else with similar problems! Fix those validation errors!

    Hi,
    greta for you!
Most errors are cascading so they build up over time
