   Firefox 3.0.13 is my primary broswer, but I'm also checking for compatibility in Internet Explorer 8 (8.0.6001.18813). My OS is Windows Vista, if that's relevant.

   I'm really quite flummoxed by this. Right now I'm playing around with creating a theme, which can currently be seen here.

   In Firefox, the sidebar and the posts section (the part that's generated by index.php) are lined up, but in IE8 the sidebar's top is a few pixels below the posts section. I've tried testing the margins, adjusting heights, several other things but nothing fixed that discrepancy and I'm not sure what's going on here.

   Here is the link for this theme's stylesheet, I could post the code here if needed.

   Addendum: Apparently the fault is with IE in general, as BrowserShots displays that the same problem is present in IE7 and IE6.
