Sidebar alignment on child pages

Hi team!

I’ve nearly completed this site for a client of mine: retrofitdesign.ca and like the sidebar’s placement on the main page (in fact, to get that spot, I added padding to the top).

But on every other page, it’s even further down. I suspect it’s because of an element above (see what I mean here) but for the life of me can’t seem to manipulate the correct top element. Adjusting the width on the one in the screenshot just changes the brown bar, but surely the base of the orange highlighted area is where my sidebar’s padding begins… Yes?
