   Hi Ive just started using wordpress and am having trouble editing the stuff on my side bar there are things like tag cloud and blog roll there that i dont want i know how to turn off side bar witch i dont want to do. i want to remove these things and put my own and in my own order thanks

   'dashboard' 'appearance' 'widgets'

   drag the widgets of your choice into the sidebar widget area(s)

   Hi, you should be able to log into your admin panel, then select widgets under appearance, then drag out the stuff you dont want and re-arrange as you wish.

   Try adding a widget via Appearance->Widgets. This should replace the sidebar's default content.
