I have the same issue – did you find a fix? I am using WP 3.9.2 and Ward Pro theme 1.0.6. – request the code if needed. But I to have the same issue… I am coding this for the bottom of the home page and the News block is showing at the top of the main content section.

This WORKED! The block is no longer floating to the top of the home page.
However, the plugin ignores my theme CSS and runs past the css block placing text under the right column. Too bad because this is exactly what I was looking for. I looked up the code and see that (for my theme) the plugin adds some css classes that are not necessary. I would still be interested in using this plugin if you think you can help me.
