I was trying to upgrade a few Plugins to their new version and so I chose to do automatic update. After I click on it it asks for my FTP information and I type it in. After that it shows that the plugin updated sucesfully. After I go back to the plugin section it asks me to upgrade/update the same plugin. What am I missing?
Shows avail upgrade to plugin, after automatic upgrade still shows as upg avail (4 posts)

Posted 3 years ago #So I guess it actually updates the plugin because I was looking at a live connection and it shows that the plugin has been changed today vs other pugins that have not been upgraded/changed since a while back.... still looks pretty anoyhing though as I dont know which ones really are upgraded and which I didnt click yet

just download the updated plugin and re-upload replacing the files you have on the server, unless you know that the plugin makes changes in its folder which i doubt

Posted 3 years ago #Well it used to automatically do this for me. I would choose upgrade automatically and it would upgrade the plugin and the warning would be gone, but now it stays. Its not just one, theres like 8 I have to upgrade so I was looking forward at doing it this way
