• Hi,
I wanted to install the plugin but I am not sure how to change the file searchform.php as I only found the file search.php

Also I do not want to replace the current search form on my site with the ajaxy form. I only want it on one page which will contain a very big table of information, the ajaxy form is to find the right results faster.

For the table I have used the TablePress plugin which also shows in the Ajaxy template settings.

If i change the file searchform.php to file searchforma.php will that replace my current search form on the site?

    Help is much appreciated.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

    thanks for your question.
I don’t know this plugin (I only know TablePress), but I’m confused as to why you want to replace the lightning fast TablePress filtering with this…

    Hi,

I think you must have misunderstood something.

I use TablePress to import a table onto one of my pages on the site. I want to implement the ajaxy live search at the top of that page so that users can type in what they are looking for within the table and it will show the results. I don´t want to replace the current search form just add the ajaxy live search to one page.

    Thanks

    Hi,

ok, but isn’t this similar to the live filtering that you get with every TablePress table by default (see the “Search” field right above the table at http://tablepress.org/demo/ ).

you can use the id of the text box to display ajaxy live search there

go to ajaxy live search setting and put the input ID, in the search ID field

it should work without any further change

    Hi,

that sounds good! I hope that that works for laubenicolas.
